"I have been working for this practice for 12 years & have been using the EMIS (Patient Management system) to view & update patient information using a standard PC keyboard & mouse.

As I am only a one finger typist, creating referral letters was slow & cumbersome. Freedom of Speech installed NaturallySpeaking Professional edition version 9 onto my system & provided me with a one day training session. I am now creating referrals letters in a fraction of the time it previously took me & also navigating EMIS using voice commands rather than the keyboard & mouse.

The speed & accuracy of the speech recognition software is far superior to other systems I have used in the past & the quality of the medical dictionary provided by Freedom of Speech ensured that I had to make very few corrections to the document.
