The DS-5000iD is an advanced professional digital recorder with all of the DS-5000's premium features but also includes a Biometric Fingerprint Lock Function to help keep your DS-5000iD Biometric Security data safe and secure.

It's designed inside and out to provide you with all the conveniences you need for easy, flexible and productive dictation.

After enrolling yourself onto the device (by swiping your finger across the biometric reader three times), the DS-5000iD will request that you log onto the device everytime it is switched on.

This ensures that only you can use the recorder to either create new recordings or access existing audio files.
